Privacy notice

Effective 6 May 2026. Pre-launch version — will be reviewed by counsel before paid pilots begin.

This notice covers how Juto Technologies Limited (trading as Juto Accounting; “Juto”, “we”) collects and uses personal data through the marketing site at getjuto.com. It is written to satisfy the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), the UK GDPR, and the EU GDPR.

The data controller is Juto Technologies Limited, trading as Juto Accounting. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy question, including to exercise the rights described below.

What we collect

Through this site we collect personal data in two ways:

Waitlist form. When you submit the form at getjuto.com/waitlist, we collect your name, work email, company name, your role, and the country your team is based in. You provide all of this voluntarily.
Aggregated traffic analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics records anonymised, aggregated visit data — pages viewed, referrer, country at country level, browser type. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect anything that identifies you personally.

Why we use it

Waitlist data is used to contact you about Juto’s launch, the Nigerian pilot, and product updates relevant to the role and country you told us about. Lawful bases: your consent (NDPR §2.2 · UK/EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and our legitimate interest in pre-launch outreach (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Analytics data is used to understand which content lands — e.g. which markets are visiting — and to improve the site. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in measuring marketing effectiveness; because the data is not personal in the GDPR sense, no consent is required.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of processors to run the site. None of them sell or repurpose your data:

Cloudflare Inc. — hosting (Pages), DNS, edge caching, web analytics, and the database (D1) that stores waitlist submissions. Data is processed on Cloudflare’s global edge network with appropriate transfer safeguards.
Resend — transactional email delivery for waitlist notifications and confirmations. Resend processes the email address and any content of the email; nothing else.

We do not share waitlist data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party not strictly required to deliver the service.

How long we keep it

Waitlist records are kept until either (a) Juto launches and you become a customer, at which point your data moves under the customer privacy policy you sign at that time, or (b) you ask us to delete it, or (c) two years pass with no contact between us — whichever happens first.

Aggregated analytics are kept for 12 months.

Your rights

Under NDPR and UK/EU GDPR you can ask us to:

Confirm what personal data we hold about you and provide a copy (right of access);
Correct inaccurate data (right to rectification);
Delete your data (right to erasure / right to be forgotten);
Pause processing while a dispute is resolved (restriction);
Receive your data in a portable format (portability);
Object to our processing on legitimate-interest grounds.

Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we will action requests within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you can lodge a complaint with the Nigerian Data Protection Commission (NDPC), the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), or your local EU supervisory authority.

Security

Submissions travel over HTTPS. The waitlist database is private to the Cloudflare account that operates the site, with API keys stored as Cloudflare Pages secrets. Access is restricted to Juto operators on a need-to-know basis. We do not store payment information on this site — there is nothing to pay for yet.

International transfers

Cloudflare and Resend operate globally. For UK/EU residents, transfers outside the UK/EEA rely on the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. For Nigerian residents, transfers comply with NDPR §2.11 (transfer to foreign country).

Changes to this notice

If we change anything material, we will email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
